Laura Bush, such a lady

When historians look back at the George "Pinocchio" Bush era, one of the things that will stand out is that his wife was a lady. No matter that her husband behaved like a man with a 2 inch penis, she smiled and spoke softly and always wore an appropriate outfit. This is important to a southern gal. You just have to keep on keepin' on, right Missus Bush? Ya'll remember that, now here? Act like a lady, no matter what your stupid husband does or says. Smile politely when confronted with his contempt for the Constitution of the United States. None of that matters. It is important that when all is said and done, Laura Bush can look back on her time in the White House and say, "I always behaved like a proper southern belle." And really, is there anything else?

Pinocchio remains arrogant and ignorant

George thinks we should be careful not to upset the Arabs. We wouldn't want them to bomb an embassy or something. His latest approval rating is 37. That's pretty fucking low. That must mean that the Republicans and their "Christian" fanatic core realize that they elected an arrogant moron. Oops. Too late to fix that folks. We just have to wait it out and hope he doesn't do anything else that can't be undone, like start a war or whatever. What a tool.

Our First Amendment Rights

Since a recent survey found that more Americans can name all of the Simpsons than know the 5 main rights in the First Amendment, I thought I would just put them out there.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

This is important now because the Bush administration doesn't know them either. What you don't protect can be taken away. Don't be stupid. Vote.
